Mike Burrows
Owner
Mike moved from Florida to Oregon nearly 12 years ago. He had a background in marine construction and knowledge of helical and sheet-pile installation. Also, his previous construction experience provided broad exposure to helical piles and greatly aided his transition into co-owning Foundations First Northwest. Mike is a hands-on owner and plays a direct leading role in all our projects.
Joe Smith
Owner
In the '80s, Joe began his construction career framing houses and working with some of the best builders in Oregon. Next, he paved parking lots and roads until he opened his own paving company in the early ’90s. After selling the asphalt business, Joe sold insurance, adjusting large-loss claims. Then he returned to construction, where he began a partnership with Mike, and the rest is history!
